Step 1: Your Individual Profile

In the first step, you can share your experiences and personal risk preference with us. By providing information about your personal financial situation, you can also determine whether investing is already beneficial for you. Based on this information, you will discover your investment type. Once you've entered your details, you can always pick up where you left off.

Step 2: Personal Investment Portfolio

Based on your input, you'll get an initial glimpse of how your portfolio and underlying asset allocation could look. Details about savings plans and durations can be adjusted at any time afterwards. Once you're confident, you can also proceed to open your account right away.

Step 3: Open Account & Start Immediately

To open your account, simply have a photo ID ready and take a picture of yourself. After the identification process, we'll take care of the rest and open your investment account for you. With your access credentials, you can already personalize your customer portal and start investing with froots.

What happens after the online registration?

Your information will be automatically forwarded to our partner bank, and your investment account is typically available within 24 hours. Additionally, you will gain immediate access to your froots customer portal. There, you can customize your account to your preferences, keep track of all relevant information, make adjustments to settings, and even open additional accounts for extra goals or individuals.

Is it necessary to complete the registration online?

You can also complete the registration together with Johanna, Marlène, or David. Choose a suitable time for you and meet us online or in Vienna. We would be happy to explain everything in detail and address your personal questions.


How do I digitally sign the contracts?

The contracts are automatically signed through our identification process. You only need a valid photo ID and a photo of yourself. Non-Austrian citizens can sign digitally only with the help of their passport.


How can I start investing after a successful registration?

During the registration process, you can choose whether you prefer a lump sum investment, a monthly savings plan, or a combination of both. Monthly amounts starting from 150 euros will be automatically deducted from your reference account, while you can make lump sum payments on your own. In general, your inputs can be changed at any time, as we adapt flexibly to every life situation.


After completing the registration, which details can I modify later?

You can adjust or pause your payments anytime at your convenience. Since you have your own IBAN, you can deposit funds into your froots account whenever you like. We invest at least once a week any funds present in your account. Similarly, you can change your time horizon or account name whenever you wish. If you want to open additional accounts for yourself or your loved ones, you can do so flexibly through your customer portal. How can I open multiple accounts with froots?

You can open as many accounts as you'd like with froots. The first step is to register and open your initial account. Once you've completed the registration, you can easily initiate the opening of additional accounts through the froots customer portal, without having to go through the entire registration process again.
