Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Who we are and what we do

We are a leading WealthTech company in the field of asset management and financial advisory services, based in Vienna. Our vision is to democratize asset management, making professional investment advice from experts accessible to everyone. We achieve this by automating everything that requires efficiency and maintaining a human touch where it offers real added value. Since we’re growing very quickly and constantly facing new challenges, this is where you come in:

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

What you need to bring to the table

  • Strong backend PHP/Symfony skills.

  • Hands-on API Platform experience.

  • Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations (payments, banking, KYC, or similar).

  • Experience processing and storing large volumes of data - designing data models and pipelines that stay fast and correct as data grows.

  • An analytical mindset: comfortable reasoning about financial data, spotting inconsistencies, and validating that computed numbers are right.

  • Strong testing habits (PHPUnit / e2e).

  • Good judgment and clear communication: you can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfort in a small, fast-moving team where requirements change.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain our backend services using PHP/Symfony and API Platform.

  • Work on third-party integrations: maintain and extend existing ones (banking, KYC) and build new ones as we grow.

  • Own the data pipeline behind our product: daily ingestion of banking data, processing it into holdings and transactions, and computing the KPIs built on top.

  • Work directly with stakeholders to shape what gets built, weighing trade-offs like speed vs. polish and today vs. scale.

  • Keep our codebase well tested using unit tests with PHPUnit and e2e coverage for critical flows.

  • Help the team adapt as requirements shift; priorities move fast and you'll have a real say in them.

What you can expect

  • You’ll have the opportunity to help shape processes within the company

  • You’ll have the opportunity to advance in responsibility and position and grow alongside the company

  • You’re guaranteed to feel valued thanks to our company culture

  • After an onboarding period, the opportunity to join our employee share program and become a co-owner of the company.

What else we have to offer

  • An office in the heart of Vienna

  • A set number of work-from-home days

  • A meal allowance

  • Regular team lunches, events, and dinners

  • A highly motivated, diverse, and international team
